Here is what I recommend:

1 to 3 Days Before an Event
2 Days Before your Wedding: To make sure all the bronzer is rinsed off before you put on your wedding dress.
1 Day Before your Vacation: So it lasts the longest and make sure you take some tan extender & sunscreen with you!
On Wednesdays if you like to be tan all the time. If you come in weekly, this is the ideal day, it will take you through the rest of the week and the weekend nice and bronzed.

Note: All Spray tans take up to 24-hours to fully develop.

Q) Does Coast Beach Tan have a storefront location?

Q) What can I expect from Coast Beach Tan mobile tanning services?

A) First, we will identify ourselves with an ID’s or Certified Tech card.

We will find a safe location to set up our equipment in a room free from rugs and is spacious enough for tent, equipment and length from ceiling to floor & far from walls or valuables.

3. After application begins with an HVLP airbrush gun; that allows for a flawless application & a gorgeous color. We do a Smoothing method, to set application of solution. At times we will Re-apply to certain areas of the body, using specific tools to blend.

In the event we need to reapply extra solution we will spray a 2nd pass to lightly darken and/or even out an area. Once application is finished the session is complete. You have the option to add finishing powder post spray tanning session.

Q) How long does a session take?

A) It varies depending on which service you choose; set up, prep & process and packing up equipment...ranges from 30 to 45 mins.

Q) What All is included in price?

Q) I am pregnant, is it safe to spray tan?

A) For safety concerns of mom & baby, we ask that you provide a physicians approval letter prior to a spray tan service. It is normally safe to get a sunless session, but to be on the safe side we like to recommend you to your OBGYN Physician overseeing you & baby's care. It is often suggested by some healthcare providers that waiting until you're passed 1st trimester is a safer practice. we do ask you still sign a release waiver for spray tanning during pregnancy.

Q) What is the recommended time to schedule spray tan services before an event or for a wedding?

A) We will accommodate you, but we recommend at least 2 weeks out from events. This allots time to do a trial spray tan & a patch test: especially important, if you've never spray tanned. Otherwise, most special events should be 2 to 3 days prior, this way all bronzers are rinsed away & you are picturesquely ready. (IMPORTANT)For Brides and wedding party it is best to book a month out, to reserve enough time between trial tan, wear time, exfoliating, and spray tan for wedding day. Q) Do I need to be slightly covered or not wear anything?

A) Truly, this is a clients preference. It is your decision and your comfort level. In the event you choose to wear our undergarments, we provide disposable bras & bottoms free of charge.

Q) How far will Coast Beach Tan travel?

A) Currently we will travel up to 45 miles, of any location outside of Gulfport, any distance 10 miles outside of central location will be charged a travel fee according to mileage.

SPRAY TANNING Q&A

How Long Does a Spray Tan Last?

A. Long lasting spray tans are possible. Many clients give feedback of 9 to 11 days. However, it is a person to person basis and there are contributing factors that can cause color to fade sooner.

Typically, the most common reasons, is pregnancy, fairer skin tones, medications, and hormonal imbalances. We highly recommend to follow before and after care instructions. It truly does come down to the adequate care you give your skin, a true determiner to your colors wear time.

What should I wear after a spray tan?

A. It is best to choose loose, dark fitting clothes & comfy shoes. The best advice is shoes that leave room for your feet to move around freely & breath. It helps the cause for those cute toesie's to get some extra oxygen. The most common shoes that are less constrictive is flip-flops or broke-in sandals. Please do not wear anything constricting (e.g.. tennis shoes, boots, stappy heels) Be prepared to ditch the bra as well, to decrease marks left on shoulders (this goes for carring bags, totes, or cross bodies.., over the shoulder) Nothing heavy over until after 1st rinse.

Are spray tanning memberships worth it?

A. It depends what is included and how the memberships are packaged. As a consumer myself, I believe the more value I find in any membership purchase, the more it makes sense for me to invest. All memberships at Coast Beach Tan are non-ontract, have no penalty fees or bank drafts.

The way memberships work - On the date of purchase you have 30 days to use all sessions. The value of each membership offered, is the saving per session, bronzers, pre-care & post-care are also included in Queen and Gold VIP Memberships. (a value savings of up to $85)

Can you spray tan and have regular tan?

A. Yes. The most important thing to practice is reapply sunscreen at the very least, every 2 hours. Tanning in a tanning bed is not advised, definitely not within a 12 hr. period before or after a spray tanning session. (you never want sunburnt skin, especially with a spray tan)

And yes, there is a term called 'double dipping'.

Doubling up on tanning your skin in a tanning bed/spray tan is honestly only going to go so far for darker color. Your natural tone determines your depth of tanning. Side note, if you ever want to have extra color, we offer spray tan layering, that will still keep you in the world of normal looking results.

What should I expect after my spray tan?

A. Processing of your color is underlying, the BOSS is the DHA (dihydroxyacetone) found in all sunless solutions. This is what's giving you that tanned look after a full 24hrs. The immediate color (if not using a clear formula) is only temporary, termed a "guide" or "cosmetic color" and will only be a beginning step of 2 phases within the 24hr timeframe of sunless development.

Bronzers basically work like facial make-up, it is only worn for a certain amount of time, then you wash it off.

The bronzer is meant to be cleaned off of the skin too. Same concept for liquid bronzing - it is only meant for an immediate colorant and does not give any lasting results. I go more into this at consultation with you at 1st appointment.

What's the best way to maintain my color?

A. Listen to your artist, seriously. You would not spend a fortune on a new hair color and then not follow hairstylist recommendations..would you?

The prep-instrauctions and aftercare are written to help you get the most out of your investment. Yes, the information can seem like a lot at first glance. However, when you start to really put the information to use, you'll notice a big difference in your skins texture, look, feel, and how it will improve in skins natural state.
